Steve Brookstein uses abortion hashtag to highlight failed career and to insult transgenders

The hashtag is being used to help women talk about their abortion stories.

Today a hashtag started trending on Twitter '#ShoutYourAbortion' in order to allow women to speak about their terminations.

However former *X Factor *winner, Steve Brookstein appears to have turned into a bit of a "Katie Hopkins motormouth" and enraged Twitter users by using the hashtag to speak about his "pop career" - but not before insulting the transgender community first.

Steve began his rant on the social media site by saying: "#ShoutYourAbortion oh God, Twitter does it again. Go on then be proud. Shout it out."

Not long after he posted: "#ShoutYourAbortion don't forget trangenders. They can also be idiots."

Originally the hashtag was intended to empower women and help *actually *highlight budget cuts threatening the closure of state funded clinics in the US.

Continuing to shock Twitter users, Steve went on to say: "I don't think I come across enough radical feminists with mental health issues. I really don't.

"I aborted my pop career as I was trapped in abusive recorded deal. My shame stops today. #ShoutYourAbortion."

Amongst the above insults, Steve decided to come up with his own "inventive" hastags to continue to disrespect abortion, such as '#ShoutYourDump, #ShoutYourMum' and '#ShoutYourFetish'.

Oh, and prior to all this - as if this wasn't all enough - Steve seemingly out of the blue, insulted Katie Price:
