Stormzy is having a pretty lit year so far, isn’t he? Not only is he the gift that keeps on giving on Twitter, he's enjoyed phenomenal chart success, cropped up on Love Island and delivered some bloody great collabs with the likes of Little Mix and Ed Sheeran.

He's also been nominated for a number of awards, formed some unusual showbiz friendships and proved love is very much alive and well thanks to his adorbs relationship with Maya Jama. See, we told you Stormzy was absolutely owning 2017.

So, it seems only natural that the next step would be to appear on the nation's favourite talent show.

Stormzy is said to have landed the role of Nicole Scherzinger's guest judge at Judges’ Houses on The X Factor this year. He's reportedly heading to South Africa to help Scherzy choose her final acts for the live shows - and we can't wait to hear the words of wisdom he imparts on the contestants.

"Stormzy is the man of the moment and he'll be great," a source told Newsbeat.

In other X Factor news, Sinitta recently took to Twitter to air her frustration at being snubbed by the show.

Addressing the issue, she wrote: "Today I was informed I will Not be doing @TheXFactor again this year (after being invited back 2 years in a row and so close to filming).

She then accompanied the tweet with a picture of her Bitmoji sat on a block of ice reading, "That's Cold".

Awks. But, hold up, does this mean Chezza's bagged the coveted spot next to Simon at his South of France pad? WILL SHE BRING BABY BEAR?
