What is it with Walford and a Merry Christmas?

And hot on the heels of last week’s big EastEnders reveal: the Beales and the Mitchells eating their Christmas dinner off an actual coffin, three more terrifying images have been released.

The first (above) shows Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) holding the baby Jesus - sorry, Kush Junior.
The baby does look like it’s being placed in a manager though. And that’s because it is!
In the sense that Stacey’s waters break at E20’s nativity on Christmas Eve, because of course they do.
Elsewhere, wrong ‘un Vincent Hubbard (Richard Blackwood) is shown standing on the remains of a crushed car.
It looks rather like his flash Hyundai, and no-one could survive a smash like that.
Does that mean Vincent is going to croak this Christmas? We know that there will be the traditional EastEnders festive death but we rather assumed it was Dean Wicks (Matt DiAngelo) going to the Queen Vic in the sky.
Speaking of which, the Carters are pictured having a very glum Christmas, as the wedding they’ve been looking forward to turns into a watery grappling.
And let’s not forget that a member of the Slater clan kicks the bucket in the New Year.
Blimey. Anyone else need a sherry after all that?
