Taylor Swift may have more or less disappeared off the face of the earth for the last few months, but she’s apparently been very much active in her dating life.
It was recently reported that she’s dating Brit actor Joe Alwyn (find out all about him here) – and a source told The Sun recently: “Taylor and Joe are the real deal, this is a very serious relationship.
“But after what happened with Tom Hiddleston, they were determined to keep it quiet.”
Taylor has apparently rented a house in north London to be near to Joe, and they’ve taken secrecy very seriously."
So seriously in fact, that they apparently went to HUGE lengths to keep their blossoming relationship quiet.
Our insider told us: “Taylor has three private jets that she uses, and fans keep track of the tail numbers and noticed she was making a lot of trips between Nashville, New York and the UK.
“So she started switching around which plane she used. She also dyed her hair back from platinum blonde to her natural colour, and would wear a dark brown wig when she went out.”
However, her cover was almost blown back in February when a UK fan tweeted that she’d walked past someone in the street who looked “exactly like Taylor, only with brown hair”. The same month, Taylor’s voice was heard in squad member Lily Aldridge’s Snapchat video from London.
A second source added: “It’s a lot easier to stay undercover in London everyone’s always walking around with hats and scarves on – and no one expects to see a superstar on the streets.
The house she rented was near his parents’ place. It was incredibly private, behind gates. She hired a local security team and handlers to liaise with her US team and make sure her movements were kept top secret.
She and Joe even ventured out a couple of times with her in disguise with a brunette wig. They actually went to a karaoke bar in Camden without being spotted and had a great time, singing an Eminem song.”
