Step aside Kim Kardashian, because Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have essentially broken the internet.
As fans will already know, photos of the pair enjoying a date on a beach surfaced just two weeks after she split with DJ Calvin Harris.
At the time of their break up, Calvin tweeted: "The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect' which has now been deleted."
He has also unfollowed Taylor, after tweeting early yesterday morning: "It's about to go down' which was also deleted.
Shortly after his tweet, those photos of #Swiddleston hit the internet, sparking a HUGE social media meltdown.
But there’s no denying that the super-quick #Swiddleston romance has raised amore than a few eyebrows, with many suggesting that the photos look... well, a bit staged. After all, it's convenient for Tom, who is in the running for the next Bond.
And now Radar Online are reporting that there may be another, slightly more obvious, reason for the 'candid' snaps...
According to their sources, an insider is trying to sell a naked photo of Calvin Harris. A naked photo which they CLAIM he sent to a female music executive while he was still going out with Taylor.
Tsk tsk.
The alleged photo is said to feature a man lying on his back as he holds his erect penis - and he’s said to be clearly identifiable as the DJ by a mole that's sometimes seen near his waistband, and a tattoo on the inside forearm.
Does this explain the stagey 'getting caught in full view of everyone on a beach' vibe of Tom and Tay's photos, and the speed at which these guys got together? Was Taylor and Calvin's split not quite as amicable as they wanted us to believe? And is this a way for her to hit back at her cheating ex?
Either way, it's fair to assume that, if the press have picked up on THAT naked snap, Taylor's people have too.
And there’s no denying that going public with Tom might have been the best way to distance herself from the DJ during this scandal.
Don’t get us wrong; we’re not implying Tay and Tom are anything less than the genuine article. We're just wondering why they decided to get papped on a beach so soon after her and Cal’s big breakup, as opposed to… well, you know. Date privately, maybe?
Anyway, if this whole Calvin peen pic rumour has some truth to it, then fair enough. We've all been hurt and wanted to show everyone how, like, totally FINE we are OK?
