Ever since it emerged that Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift AKA the most surprising celeb couple since Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole got together, we have been in a perpetual state of confusion.

A vast amount of conspiracy theories aiming to explain their bizarre relationship popped up, our favourite of which was the 'most elaborate Taylor Swift music video ever' suggestion.

And if it's true, we will be the happiest people on the planet and even rethink our #TeamKimye stance on that whole Tay Tay V Kim Kardashian and Kanye West feud.

There were other far more boring theories: that he was using her to get Bond, that she was using him to get one up on Calvin Harris – and it looks like one of these less dramatic ideas could be coming true.

It's been reported that Taylor is concerned that Tom's with her for publicity, and has questioned whether they're together for the "right reasons".

"Tom wants their relationship to be public, even asking Taylor to go to the Emmys with him, but Taylor wants to keep her private life private," a source told the Daily Mail.

"Tom's need for their relationship to be so public so quickly makes her uncomfortable. She tried to be OK with it in the beginning but fears he is in love with the idea of her and not falling in love with her for the right reasons."

Ooooh dear.

This news comes after Taylor's ex Calvin Harris is reportedly dating Mexican model Eiza González.

"They recently started hanging out, and it's very new," a source told Us Weekly.

"They both really wanted to keep it low-key for a while, but once those photos came out, they knew that wasn't going to happen. They're both happy and just seeing where things go for now."
