This year has been so bloody mad and ridiculous that quite literally nothing could surprise us anymore.
Hiddleswift? Yup, adorable couple. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian going to prison? Of course. Liam Payne and Cheryl imminently with child? LOVELY.
So the notion that Honey G (the next Jay Z with Nicki Minaj's vibe) off of The X Factor is actually former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron was really no shock at all.
The theory propped up on Twitter (like all the best ones do), when people started tweeting pics of the two together and noting the resemblance.
And we're NGL, we do see the similarities…
Someone called I am Duncan Smith (who we don't think is Iain Duncan Smith) posted: "For any one wondering what David Cameron is currently up to…… Dave c disappears Honey G emerges. Coincidence….. I think not."
Another wrote: "I hear Honey G is going to reveal her true identity as David Cameron on tonight's show. Singing is better than the politics though #XFactor."
We were bitterly disappointed that she (HE?!?!?) didn't.
Another added: "Once you realise Honey G looks like David Cameron, there's no unseeing it #XFactor."
Is it just Monday morning or is this theory actually quite believable?
Honey G did a fantastic rendition of California Love on Saturday night's show, winning over both Simon Cowell and the viewing public.
This was great news, considering that a whole loada people (upwards of 16,000) had been signing a petition to BAN HER FROM THE SHOW.
Which we thought was all a bit silly.
