If you’ve been thinking about tightening up your pelvic floor muscles (well, you might be) lovely Gwyneth Paltrow wants to help you.

Yes, on Gwyneth’s informative website Goop, the mum-of-two has shared her tips on getting those muscles tight again. And what’s the best thing to do? Have wee in the shower while squatting, of course.

“Try peeing in the shower squatting down,” the piece reads – with a very helpful illustration if you need some guidance.

    Gwyneth’s insightful piece explains that the squatting and weeing method can help better your bladder control and bring on some mind-blowing orgasms (during sex, not during shower weeing). Hooray.

    It adds: “When you squat to pee as opposed to sitting up straight on the toilet, you automatically engage your pelvic floor and it naturally stretches and tones.

    “Because your urethra is pointed straight down in this position all you have to do is relax for urine to flow out easily - as opposed to sitting up straight and having to strain to empty your bladder.”

    She also advocates having lots of sex to improve your kegels, adding that sex is “great for your body, mind, spirit, and pelvic floor” before writing: “Practice squeezes and letting go. Your partner will love it!”
