On Wednesday night Tom Daley and his boyfriend Dustin Lance Black made their first red carpet appearance together.
Tom, 19, and 39-year-old Dustin were at the Inaugural Battersea Power Station annual party in London. And now screenwriter Dustin has spoken about his relationship with Olympian Tom for the first time. Dustin told The Sun: “He’s the best. I’m very proud.
Everything Tom has said about being in love I feel and echo probably more. I’m very happy.” Dustin also said how impressed he was with Tom’s passionate “coming out” video last year, saying: “I couldn’t have written it better. He can do whatever he sets his mind to.”
The pair have moved in together after nearly a year of dating, with Dustin moving his things into Splash star Tom’s fancy-pants flat overlooking London’s Olympic Park. He said: “I’m enjoying it here. I only have to show my face in LA so they don’t think I’ve died.”
Tom added: “It’s been crazy since the whole shebang. But it has been fun and everyone’s been really supportive – so it’s all good really.”
