Yesterday we told that Mario Falcone and Lucy Mecklenburgh would discuss their true feelings for each other during the TOWIE series 10 finale, and sure enough they did.
The on/off couple snuck out of the ‘80s-themed party to talk about their future together, with Mario doing his best to convince his ex-fiancee he was serious about getting back together.
“It feels like both of us are saying one thing to other people. All the stuff that has happened in the last month, all the changes I've made are for you.
“Even though Pascal is amazing, I think about you in the back of my mind. It's not fair on her, it's not fair on Tom. It seems to mean everyone has this fairytale ending, and I think why not?”
Ah, yes, Pascal. Mario’s new girlfriend who as inside the party while Mario was pouring his heart out to Lucy.
Lucy seemed half happy and half confused by what Mario was telling her – clearly the whole cheating thing is a big stumbling block to their happily ever after.
“How could I ever trust you, or what you are saying?” Lucy asked.
“That's something we should work on together. It's up to you. Think about it,” finished Mario.
It doesn’t seem that Mario has quite managed to convince Lucy that they have a future together as last night she tweeted.
