UPDATE: According to The Mirror, Jake nearly lost a kidney after being stabbed in his right side with a broken bottle.
He was rushed to hospital, where he is now recovering in intensive care.
An eyewitness told the paper that the fight had kicked off between two rival groups of Liverpudlians and Londoners.
They said: “It was like something out of the Wild West… it kicked off for real in Aqwa Mist.
“Jake was with the Liverpudlians who are well known in the area and he suffered a very bad injury.”
A spokesperson for the TOWIE star has confirmed that he is in a Costa del Sol hospital, but refused to confirm the nature of his injuries.
The 24-year-old is said to be “stable and recovering.”

The Daily Star has now confirmed that Jake was rushed to hospital by friends in the early hours of Monday morning after a fight broke out. A spokesperson for the local emergency services centre confrimed police AND paramedics had been called to nightclub Aqwa Mist at 3.25am, responding to reports that a man had been attacked with a bottle.

Jake Hall is currently recovering in a Marbella hospital this morning after an alleged stabbing at Aqwa Mist nightclub, that Jake attended over the bank holiday weekend.
A source said he was being treated amid 'fears for his kidney' but no further details have been confirmed.
Jake's representative's told the Daily Star Online: "Jake is in hospital in Marbella however, I cannot confirm any further details at this time."
A source also told the website that there HAD been a stabbing incident and many partygoers have been tweeting about the incident, calling it 'shocking' and 'disturbing'.
Jake isn't the only TOWIE cast member holidaying on the Spanish island, Megan McKenna, Jess Wright, Danielle Armstrong, James Lock and Ferne McCann have all been spotted partying with their pals.
