TOWIE original James Argent is 'counting down the days' since he's back in Brentwood following a two-month-long stay in a Thai rehab facility.

Arg has struggled with a number of problems including alcohol and substance abuse in the past but it looks like time away has worked wonders for his mental and physical health.

Keen to show off his positivity to his followers, Arg recently shared a topless snap of himself looking happy and healthy and hinted that he was ready to fly back home to Essex.

He tweeted: ME, MYSELF & I...Counting down the days until I'm home!!!#poser#imfullyawareineedahaircut x"

AND DOESN'T HE LOOK AMAZING.

What a sort!

Arg's famous pals were quick to comment on his amazing transformation, including Dan Edgar, Lewis Bloor and Chris Clark.

According the The Sun, Arg cut off all contact with his TOWIE pals (including his ex-girlfriends Lydia Bright and Gemma Collins) after checking into the facility and has only been in contact with his family and close friends.

He has reportedly lost two stone and is "getting mentally stronger".

Arg's best pal Jack Tweed also told New! Magazine: “Arg is really loving it out there.

“He said he’s been doing loads of stuff like Muay Thai boxing, jungle trekking, abseiling down waterfalls and zip-lining.

“He’s getting stronger physically and mentally.”

Will we be seeing Arg back on our screens soon? We really, really hope so.
