Geordie Shore’s second (OK, maybe third – Vicky Pattison and Ricky Guanaccio possibly just edge it) most infamous couple split up for the 200,000 time earlier this year, to much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
But why did their pure and beautiful love story have to end without a happily ever after?
Is it because of the massive tattoo Kyle Christie did of his own face on Holly Hagan’s neck in Just Tattoo Of Us?
Well, yes. But not for the reason you may think.
Holly’s revealed that the scales dropped from her eyes when she saw the tatt because it made her realise Kyle wasn’t husband material.
"The first thing I did think when I saw it was, 'Oh my God, no-one will marry me with this on the back of my neck'," she said, speaking on This Morning.
"I think this is what made me think, 'If I was going to marry him it would be fine'. That was the turning point for me, I don't think we'll be together forever."
Did the Geordie Shore tortoise wedding mean NOTHING? Apparently not.
Holly’s getting the tattoo removed live on This Morning, which seems very sensible. In a way.
Holly left the show that made her famous for Kyle, so does this mean that she’ll return now the relationship is over? Fingers crossed, especially as Holly’s BFF Charlotte Crosby has said that she’d return to the show if the circumstances were right.
And then there’d be a reason for her still appearing in the opening credits. Don’t think we haven’t noticed.
