Remember when Chris Clark from *TOWIE *went out with Jesy Nelson from Little Mix? Really? It was literally earlier this year and a really weird time.
They didn’t talk about it on the show except for some weird digs about giving drinks little mixes, but we knew. WE KNEW.
And then we knew no more as the unlikely pair split just one month after going official.
But, why?
Actually, we still haven’t got to the bottom of that. But we do know more about how Chris felt during their relationship. In a word: insecure. Not the word he used, but still.
“I didn’t understand why she was interested in me – I’m just someone from TOWIE,” he actually said, which is at least half true.
“I always felt like second best to Jesy. But that was my issue, not hers,” he continued in OK! magazine.
When the two broke up and Jesy deleted all traces of her former longhaired lover from social media (so 2017), it was speculated that Chris had been using Jesy to boost his public profile.
Which seems a little harsh, Chris is 100% the best Clark brother.
Speaking of Jon, he used to be on Love Island, you know. No, really. He got engaged during the show to Playboy model Hannah Elizabethand they still didn’t win. They didn’t last either.
Nor did Love Island to TOWIE stars Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde who broke up and we had to question everything we thought we knew about love. Hang on - is Love Island CURSED?
Probably not. It’s TOWIE that’s cursed, as any fool knows.
