Empires rise and empires fall and the sun burns out over eternity, and yet one thing remains constant: the complete and utter failure of TOWIE's Arg and Lydia Bright to stay away from each other.
Now it seems the pair have hooked up once again during filming in Marbella, despite Lydia's assurances earlier this year that she HATED him.
According to The Sun, the former lovers spent Sunday night together – and insiders reckon Arg is now certain they're getting back together.
Er, not so fast, babes.
"Lydia can't believe she fell for Arg's charms once again," a source told the paper.
"She puts it down to having a weak moment and deeply regrets leading him on."
The mole continued: “Arg was beaming afterwards, telling close pals it was a sure sign he was back in Lydia's good books.
"But that's certainly not the case."
The pair have been on and off for the whole time TOWIE's been around, but when they were off they were extremely off – when they broke up for the nth time in April this year, Lydia was caught on camera telling him: "You made me hate you. When I look at you I despise you."
She also said: "What you did that night, for me, is the most disrespectful, selfish act that I've ever heard of."
We never did learn just what Arg did to piss her off so much, but just last month she was spotted giving TOWIE co-star Jon Clark a cuddle in full view of the cameras, prompting speculation that they were getting together.
