It appears Lydia Bright and Megan McKenna have called a truce on their long-running war of words this week as the feisty pair were pictured hugging – ACTUALLY HUGGING – while filming for TOWIE spin off, The Only Way Is Marbs last night.
Forgive us if we’re slightly taken aback by this public display of mutual tolerance, as it was only a couple of months ago Megan and Lydia were slinging insults back and forth aboard a (stationary) yacht in Mallorca. Remember? Megs kindly requested Lydia and her "f_cking fringe, f_ck off", after Lyds labeled the Ex On The Beach star "trash". Charming.
We really thought any chance of a Legan/Mydia friendship was well and truly off the cards, especially after Megan’s recent Instagram outburst revealed her ferocious temper shows no signs of abating.
But who are we to question the ever-changing nature of reality TV feuds and friendships?
Earlier this week Chloe Lewis shared pictures on Instagram with Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green, Megan’s former BFFs and girl band members.
While Megan had previously blamed Lydia and Chloe Lewis for turning her friends and TOWIE co-stars against her, perhaps these friendships are actually a sign this whole Lydia/Chloe/Megan dramz can finally be laid to rest. After all, it all started over rumors – yet to be confirmed - that Megan had slept with Chloe’s ex Jake Hall, who seems to have insulted the whole TOWIE cast in one Twitter rant.
Maybe they’re planning to form an all-girl super squad to take down Jake? We’ll have to wait until the new season of TOWIM hits our screens to find out.
