In news we really did not see coming ever in our lives, Bradley Walsh (off of The Chase) beat Zayn Malik and Jack Garrett to get the best-selling debut album in the UK last year.

His album, Chasing Dreams, is mostly covers of songbook classics like That's Life and Mr Bojangles, and today Bradley Walsh off of The actual Chase is being presented with his gold record, which marks 100,000 sales.
And when speaking about his victory, he managed to reveal that a teensy bit of shade was thrown by Simon Cowell and Niall Horan (who incidentally have both been spectacularly dumped by Zayn, who lost out to Bradley. Poor huns).
He said, reports The Guardian: "I just laughed when I found out. I thought it was hysterical. I am probably the oldest new artist Sony has ever signed. Niall Horan was sending me messages, laughing his head off. And I got big congratulations from Simon Cowell. He thoroughly enjoyed it."
