Perrie Edwards may be going through a tough time after her recent split from Zayn Malik but at least things are going well in the career department.

Her former X Factor mentor Tulisa Contostavlos is bursting with pride over Perrie's band Little Mix’s success and has blabbed on social media to make sure everyone knows how happy she is.

N-Dubz singer Tulisa guided Perrie, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson through their time on the television talent contest and has marked the group’s fourth anniversary on Twitter.

She wrote: “I can’t believe it’s been four years since @LittleMix formed. I’m so proud of you and everything you have achieved.

“It’s such a privilege to have been a part of it. Keeping shining and here’s to another 4more. #4YearsOfLittleMix @LittleMix.”

Tulisa saw the girls win the show during her first year as a judge and they have since gone on to sell more than five million singles.

They also took home the prize for Breakout Artist at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday.

Well done, ladies!
