If there was any doubt in your mind that 2016 was the year that love drove off a cliff and sank deep, deep into the ocean, - then boy do we have BAD news for you.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom (AKA the definition of Halloween costume goals and avid paddle boarders) have reportedly split.

According to Touch Weekly, the couple parted ways because Orlando wasn’t ready to do the whole marriage and babies thing.

Errrr, aren’t you an ex-husband and a dad already, Orlando?

A source told the mag: "Not long after Halloween, Orlando confessed to pals that he’d decided to end their relationship.

“He claimed that he’s just not ready to get married and have babies.”

The couple were together 10 months and it was Katy who allegedly called it quits.

“She said they were on different life paths and as much as she likes him, it’s time to move on,” an insider said.

Meanwhile it’s rumoured that Katy’s music will soon be taking a political turn - in the wake of the US election and rise of the man with the most RIDICULOUS hair of all time.

The singer was a huge Hillary Clinton fan gal and she even dressed up as her for Halloween…

Katy’s album has reportedly been pushed back until early next year so she can add some new material.

An insider told The Sun: “As such a vocal Hilary Clinton supporter, she was heavily involved with the presidential election but was shocked at how volatile it became. She hopes her new music can inspire healing, peace and unity after Trump’s win.”

Healing, peace and unity? Yeah, we’ll have some of that.
