Victoria Beckham, one-time pop-star but now fully-fledged fashion designer and superwoman, has revealed some pretty devvo news about her Spice Girls days.
Speaking to Claudia Winkleman at the Vogue 100: A Century Of Style exhibition on Thursday night, she took to the stage to remark that she was often silenced on stage due to her lack of vocal ability:
"They used to turn it off and just let the others sing. I got the last laugh - and now my mic is well and truly on, finally."
WHAT A LIBERTY.
So that means she must have mimed along while band mates Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Mel C actually sang.
Vicky B has never bragged about being the best singer in the girlband but c'monnnn – bit HARSH.
However, Posh Spice DID get the biggest clothes budget in the band, as her love for fashion was cemented waaaay back then and she basically refused to wear the clothes they used to get for free.
"I was always the one that loved fashion and it was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap and so there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress.
"When all the other girls were being fun and spontaneous and jumping on tables, I was always the one checking the table wasn't going to collapse. I was always the sensible one."
Despite reports that Victoria wasn't comfortable in the band – she's definitely had the last laugh FOR SURE.
Speaking at a VOGUE fashion event just shows off her massive level of success, right?
The Spice Girls are lining up a reunion to celebrate their 20th anniversary this year. Is Posh involved? Reports are saying not a chance.
