We've all been there, that first encounter with an ex after a break-up.
You're both somehow invited to the same party (N.B. get new friends), and after a minor nervous meltdown you get to work ensuring you look FIREEEE.
You spend hours and hours perfecting the ultimate eye-liner flick: just thick enough to mesmerise him with your eyes and show him what he's missing, but not too much that you look like an attention seeking, desperate saddo
There's a fine line, trust us.
And then when you can't physically avoid each other for any longer, the reunion is PAINFULLY awkward and mostly consists of stilted conversation about how one anothers' families are doing.
Sound about right?
Well, apparently not if you're a supermodel like Bella Hadid.
Bella had to literally walk right up to her ex, The Weeknd, during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show as he performed on the runway.
But there was no avoiding eye contact or painful awkward silence, as The Weeknd was TRANSFIXED by his former girlfriend.
He literally couldn’t take his eyes of Bella.
And she looked like she was loving life as she strutted down the runway in some very SASSY underwear.
It wasn't exactly their first encounter since the split, they're reported to have bumped into each other at some swanky events in Paris, but still.
It was literally how we imagined / dreamed / prayed bumping into our ex would go.
Unfortunately the frozen isle of our local supermarket doesn't quite have the same effect as the catwalk of a fashion show.
Or the same favourable lighting.
As you can imagine, social media has gone a bit wild and come up with some of the BEST reactions to this reunion.
One person wrote: "Nothing like showing your ex what they're missing by strutting past them during the #VSFashionShow LOOKING this good."
