Life as a super famous person must be fabulous, right?

You get to swan around in really nice clothes, go out to all the best restaurants and eat amazing food, then wash it all down with some proper fancy wine before hitting da club where all your equally famous pals hang out.

SORT of like our lives – except our clothes are holey, our idea of splashing out is going to Pizza Express and we’re not sure Infernos counts as a club we want people to know we go to.

BUT ANYWAY.

Imagine if you were a full on celeb and you realised you didn’t have any money to pay for stuff?

Well that’s exactly what happened to Will Smith.

AWKWARD.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel’s chat show, the Fresh Prince actor confessed that when he recently went to the gas (petrol, to us Brits) station to fill up his car, he realised he actually had no dosh.

So what do you do if you’re Will Smith and you really need to fill up your car?

You spy a Fresh Prince Of Bel Air fan and ask them to lend you a tenner.

OF COURSE.

“I was driving and I realised I was on E,” he told Jimmy.

(E is ‘empty’ for the non-drivers out there.)

“I was about 30 minutes from my house, so I pulled into the gas station and I didn't have my wallet.

“I looked over on the other side and he was like 36 years old. I was like, 'That dude's a Fresh Prince fan'.

“You can spot them.”

That’s a VERY niche talent you’ve got there, Will.

He didn’t think Jada (Pinkett-Smith, obvs) would want to drive all the way down to him to hand over the cash.

Instead, he proceeded to wind down the window so that he’d be spotted, and when the fan asked for a selfie, Will asked for $10.

LOLOLOL.

Will did offer to pay the fan back but he apparently refused.

The perks of being mega famous, eh?
