You might've heard that Cheryl Tweedy's maybe-potentially-probably never returning to The X Factor judging panel following the news her company CherCo Productions Ltd. has officially been liquidated; but luckily another telly talent show fave's confirmed to be making a comeback this year.

Yup - remember Harry Styles from little-known boyband One Direction? Well he's set to return to the show to perform as a solo artist. Maybe he'll give us a rendition of his new single Two Ghosts, maybe he'll belt out a bit of Stevie Wonder's Isn't She Lovely (if you're a fetus 1D fan, you'll get the relevance). Who knows?

Alongside Dermot O'Leary and judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, Harry's set to return to the stage during the live shows and we can't bloody wait.

Asked if Harry will be back at the fancy af red carpet launch in London yesterday, The X Factor's executive producer Mark Sidaway said "Yes," with Louis adding "That’s a yes."

This all comes after a source recently told The Sun on Sunday: "Harry could very well be back on the X Factor stage this year.

"Simon has made it clear he is very keen to have him on in a guest slot. He sees him as a major ratings boost for the show and it’s also a chance for him to publicly show his support for Harry as a solo artist.

"Meanwhile, Harry is incredibly loyal to his roots and knows the show is a great platform to showcase his material. Discussions are ongoing but things are looking positive."
