It’s not often that we see a renowned couture designer brave the world of high-street fashion. But now, for those of us that can’t stretch to spending a month’s wages on one dress, London Fashion Week’s very own Giles Deacon has launched a super affordable ‘70s inspired collection – and it’s available exclusively at Debenhams.
And what better way to launch a fabulous range than with a fabulously star-studded party? The designer hosted a chic VIP cocktail party at the Edition Hotel last night, and of course the guest list was gleaming with IT girls such as Daisy Lowe, Millie Mackintosh, Lilah Parsons, Alicia Rountree and Jade Parfitt.
Daisy Lowe, who is the face of the range and walks for Giles during fashion week, kept it casual at the event and teamed a pair of skinny jeans with boot heels and a blouse from the collection (grab it for £45 from Debenhams.com - bargain!) - while Millie M turned heads in a peplum-hemmed lacy dress from her very own own fashion collection.
And what did Giles (who’s also famous for dressing Heidi Klum, FYI) have to say about his new collab? “I have always been a fan of the Debenhams collaborations and jumped at the chance to be part of the Edition concept. I’m really looking forward to walking past people on the street wearing my clothes and known I am designing for an everyday woman”.
