When September came along, we were dealing with some VERY sad news indeed.

One Direction gutted millions as they declared the very worst to 'directioners' across the globe; they were going on a break. SHOCK. HORROR.

And not only that, but one of our fave guys Drake seemed to delcare himself off the market by going public with Serena Williams at New York Fashion week when they were spotted kissing. Hmph.

But to lighten the mood, there were of course the odd few celebs that thought they better dress comically to lift everyone's mood.

And here they are:

Alexa Chung

Colour clash can definitely be cool. But THIS MUCH colour clash? Not so much, Alexa.

Beth Ditto

Beth Ditto Marc Jacobs cream dress

Beth was VERY close to a wardrobe malfunction here. And what is that bunch of feathers? A sleeve?

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez white jumpsuit

We know it was an event in Vegas, J-Lo, but what made you think it was fancy dress/a throwback to the Jenny From The Block days?

Khloe Kardashian

Khloe Kardashian black lace jumpsuit

Khloe K has undoubtedly looked her best this year, with the results of her hardcore health kick and fitness regime really showing - but this dress has to be one of the most unflattering that we've EVER seen her in!

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga white puff dress

A cotton wool ball? A cloud? A marshmallow? Nope, just Lady Gaga.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus green dungarees

Miley has debuted some of the weirdest outfits we've ever seen this year, and by the time September hit, she was wearing this kind of thing as casual day wear. Eek.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton neon two piece

The colour. The gems. The fingerless gloves. The tacky shoes. Just NOOOOO, Paris.

Pixie Lott

Pixie Lott blue satin dress

Pixie attended the Pride of Britain Awards looking the spit of Elsa from *Frozen. *So much so we think it may have been planned.
