It feels as though we've been hooked on the whole Stephanie Davis – Jeremy McConnell saga since the actual dawn of time and the past few months have been especially DRAMATIC.
In the past few months Jeremy moved to Liverpool to be with Stephanie Davis and baby Caben-Albi, signed up for the next series of Ex On The Beach, was left devastated after his father passed away following a short battle with cancer and was then arrested on suspicion of an assault on a woman in Liverpool.The woman involved was reportedly named in reports as his on/off girlfriend and mother of his son, Stephanie.
According to The Mirror, a spokesperson for Merseyside Police said in a statement earlier this month: "Following a report of an assault at an address in Stephenson Grove, Rainhill, a man has this morning (Thursday, 16 March) been arrested.
"A 27-year-old man from Liverpool city centre has been arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage after voluntarily attending a police station on Merseyside. He remains in police custody for questioning."
But Jez was later spotted leaving the police station, and the police released a statement saying: "The 27-year-old man arrested earlier today on suspicion of assault and criminal damage has been released pending a disposal decision."
He has since moved back to his native Ireland.
But it seems that the past few weeks have been detrimental for Jeremy's future, as he's reportedly been axed from the next series Ex On The Beach because of hid assault charge.
An insider told The Sun Online: "MTV bosses wanted to get Jeremy onboard for years and finally managed to sign him up.
"But his legal troubles have left them no choice but to axe him from the cast.
"The show will now go ahead without him."
Jezza's axing comes after Steph posting some very cryptic tweets on Mother's Day.
Sharing a pic of a massive bunch of red roses (which we're guessing were pricey AF), everyone came to the conclusion that the flowers must be from Jeremy.
One person tweeted: " Wow I’m impress w tis bunch of 50 red roses,it’s from special some1 to Steph-Jez,hope I’m rite [right], lucky Steph…"
