Rumour has it Harry Styles' debut solo single Sign of the Times could miss out on the number one spot this week despite being potentially the best song of all time ever.
According to reports a glitch on streaming service Spotify means many users couldn't even find the track through the search function after it was released last Friday. Oh gahd.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "This is a nightmare start for Harry’s solo career and his record label won’t be happy,’ a source told the paper.
"The Spotify malfunction meant many of his fans simply couldn’t find his song to listen to online when they searched for it.
"The potential ramifications are big and it’s likely he has missed out on hundreds of thousands of streams as a result. That could really affect his chart position come Friday.
"He is No1 at the moment but that’s only because his streaming stats haven’t been included yet, and they have more weight.
"Harry’s launch is one of the industry’s biggest this year and everyone expected him to hit the ground running by topping the charts."
At least he's number one at the moment, eh? Also we're pretty sure it'll all be just fine tbh.
A Spotify spokesperson-type confirmed there was a problem to Variety, saying it was a 'technical issue for both Free and Premium' users.
