It was bloody bonkers, we won't lie
You've probably seen the ad with Kevin Bacon flying EE Class to celebrate the mobile phone service provider's rather brilliant Apple Music deal which sees customers get six months of streaming free; but did you realise EE Class actually exists and we were lucky enough to fly it?
Yup - last week we donned our best Britney Toxic air steward outfits and flew over to Ibiza on a fancy af private jet to celebrate Jonas Blue's birthday.
So basically, since we're loving the fact you can get SIX MONTHS of Apple Music free as an EE customer, we thought we'd better go along to Jonas's big bash at the swankiest of locations and have a chinwag with the man himself.
"There’s no better way to celebrate my birthday," he told us. "I love Ibiza. I’ve been here 18 times this year, so it feels more and more like home."
EIGHTEEN times? Casual.
So what's the craziest thing that's happened while he's been in Ibiza, eh? "I nearly missed my flight a few weeks back," Jonas explained. "Basically I finished my set at Hï at 4am, should probably have gone home but didn’t and invited a load of my girl mates out, went back to the villa, went through the whole rider and made it 10 minutes before my flight."
After admitting he probably wouldn't be up for reworking Vengaboys' We're Going to Ibiza, he said he would be up for working his magic on (You Drive Me) Crazy. He said: "That’s an amazing song. Or *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. You know Max Martin stuff?
"I’d love to rework those songs; not into house tracks but I heard Ed Sheeran cover …Baby One More Time and that was amazing. I’d love to do a cover of Crazy at some point."
Jonas is well up for a Shawn Mendes collab, too, adding: "He’s an amazing songwriter and I’m a big fan. We’ve been speaking."
Here for it, Jonas. HERE. FOR. IT.
