HI-CI-YA, HOLD TIGHT. The Spice Girls reunion's apparently back on and we're dusting off the old Buffalo boots as we speak.

The whole Ginger, Scary, Sporty, Baby and Posh getting back together thing's been on and off more than a bloody light switch, let's face it. Last we heard Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Melanie B were reuniting under the 'Spice Girls GEM' nickname after they posted that vid to celebrate Wannabe's 20th anniversary. Meanwhile Victoria's pretty much out and Melanie C recently told Lorraine 'maybe, at some point, something will happen.'

Bit confusing.

The latest reports? Ginger's teased something 'in the near future' and it's apparently all systems go now Mel B's divorcing her husband Stephen Belafonte.

GEM - aka Geri, Emma and Mel B - hit the studio as a three-piece with ther old producer to record new music last year. One of 'em was called Song for Her which leaked late 2016, remember? Anyway, after a couple of spanners got thrown in the works - namely Geri's relationship troubles - it sounds like everything might be back on.

Confirming the girls are still keen, Geri told The Sun: "We’re not re-forming immediately, but in the near future," with a source adding that Mel's divorce was a sticky point in the plans.

They told the paper: "Stephen was always an unnerving presence. Now he’s out of the way, fun will return."

Well that's our Halloween fancy dress sorted, innit? SHOTGUN BABY.

This all comes after Emma recently teased another Spice Girls album, telling The Sun: "We’re always talking about it. I think it would be amazing, so I’m on the case and Geri’s the same.

"It’s about finding the perfect time. We want to make it right for our fans. But it would be a shame not to do something."
