Robbie Williams is in ‘secret talks’ with his former Take That band mates to plan a mega reunion, reports say.
The cheeky chap is said to want to get the gang together once more to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
Well, most of the gang – Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald – because Jason Orange said his goodbyes to the boys in last year.
A source told The Sun:
"Robbie's first return to *Take That* was never going to be a one-off. He feels passionate and proud of the band's achievements and still wants to be part of it…He loves the big tours and being in the studio with the lads. His comeback will be a great way to mark their anniversary."
In case you missed it, Robbie’s had an on-and-off again relationship with iconic British boy band.
After joining the band in 1990 along with the other lads, Robbie announced his departure from the five-some in 1995, and pursued a solo career that provided the world with some tear-jerking classics such as* Angels* and She’s The One.
But in 2010, an entire fifteen years on, he got back with this old boys to record the album Progress and do a major UK tour, much to the die-hard fans’ delight.
But then, in April 2014, Robs called it a day. Again. After becoming a father for the second time his man-hands were a little full. And when Jason called it quits later that year in September, the fire that had reignited in Take That fans hard began to burn out once more.
Will they be back for good this time? Who knows.
