This morning, when we were listening to Taylor Swift’s long awaited new song, Look what you made me do, we couldn’t help but think we’d heard it somewhere before.

And we weren’t the only ones…

But don’t worry, it’s not just us going crazy due to the fact its been on repeat for the last two hours in the heat offices.

Apparently, according to the official song credits, it contains a proportion of the melody from the 90s banger I’m Too Sexy, written by the legendary Right Said Fred.

And be warned, once you hear it you can’t unhear it.

Listen for yourselves.

We don’t know about you, but whenever we hear the chorus of Taylor’s song now, we're just gonna be singing “I’m too sexy for my shirt…”

The writing credit accepts that the chorus of LWYMMD is similar to Right Fred Said’s song, which pretty much means Tay Tay’s production squad wanted to cover their backs in case they were called out for copying.

It lists three members of Right Said Fred, Richard Fairbrass, Fred Fairbrass and Rob Manzoli – and credits them as songwriters alongside Swift and Jack Antonoff.

But the band don’t seem to mind, and even tweeted Taylor following their acknowledgement, saying: “Thank you ‪@taylorswift13 what a marvellous reinvention!”
