After posting several teasers throughout the week, yesterday Taylor Swift put speculation to rest and revealed she is releasing a new album.

So, what do we know so far? The album will be titled Reputation, and it will be released on 10 November. But don't worry, you'll have something to keep you going till then – Tay-Tay also announced she will be releasing the lead single on Thursday night…WHICH IS TONIGHT!

Prior to this, she riled up fans by clearing all her social media accounts, then posting teasers featuring a snake on her social media.

Taylor has a history with snakes: she was trolled with the snake emoji after feuds with Katy Perry, Calvin Harris – and, perhaps the biggest feud of all, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

This one was over a lyric in Kanye's song Famous, released in July 2016, which featured a lyric about Taylor.

Taylor denied she had given Kanye her blessing to include it – but then, in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in July 2016, Kim shared a Snapchat video of Taylor meant to prove she had given the lyric her approval.

After this Taylor went quiet, both in public and on social media - which is why fans were sent into such a big frenzy when she suddenly made a comeback.

It's also widely rumoured that Taylor will be making a surprise appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday.

It's been two years since Taylor reduced her last album, 1989 – which sold 1.2 million copies in its first week. Will her new album do as well? And will it address past feuds?

We can't wait to find out!
