You know that horrible feeling when you try and get gig tickets to your favourite artist but they all sell out and you cry for days knowing that you’ll totally miss out on all the fun?

Well fear no more! That’s all about to change with virtual reality.

Last night heat attended an exclusive gig with Years & Years where they previewed their European tour, giving their fans the ultimate immersive experience - an interactive virtual reality performance streamed live across Europe with Samsung Galaxy S7.

Performing their hit singles Worship, Shine and *King *among others, the boys pushed the boundaries of VR, allowing the audience to switch between different camera angles throughout the show on their Samsung Gear Virtual Reality headsets - as in, we basically stood next to Olly on stage as he performed. Yes!

Talk about getting up close and personal with the stars.

The Years & Years boys said: “We are buzzing. The show was like nothing we have done before. The VR element adds a totally new dimension for us as performers and for those watching."

"We’re proud to be the first artists to offer such a unique and special, immersive experience to our fans. We can’t wait to see the performance ourselves in 360 video.”

Say goodbye to the days of being stuck at a gig watching the back of someone’s head. That’s us sold!
