Forget the Chinese Zodiac and the year of the rooster, 2017 is without doubt the year of the Ed in our opinion. Ed Sheeran is absolutely killing it.
His third album, divide, was pretty much the entire UK Top 40 chart, he's all loved up with his GF Cherry Seaborn and he's set to star in the brand new sereies of Game Of Thrones. He's just the gift that keeps on giving, tbh.
Anyway, while all of his 16 new tracks are absolute bangers, we're pretty sure no other song in the history of songs is as catchy as Galway Girl.
And now Ed's released the video, and it looks as footloose and fancy-free (lol) as the single.
Directed by Jason Koenig, the video was filmed in Galway and Dublin in Ireland last month and stars Saoirse Ronan - who you may recognise from Atonement and Brooklyn.
And as if you didn't already think Ed was probs one of the most talented people alive RN, he also showcased his filmaking skills as he shot the video himslef.
