The BBC has just released a full-length EastEnders Christmas Day trailer and it is dark AF.
Look at Bobby Beale (Eliot Carrington).
Would you trust him in a car? We wouldn’t trust him in someone else’s car.
And he seems to have done something to Denny Rickman (Bleu Landau), prompting Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean), who’s clocked that Bobby’s behind his sister’s death,to tell Jane Beale (Laurie Brett): “He’s not right!”
And a not-sober-looking Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) to go looking for him in the woods, where there is an almighty car smash!
But who is in the car?
The BBC has been hinting for aaaaaages that a “well loved character” kicks the festive bucket on Christmas Day, as is traditional in Walford.
So, that rules out Bobby. And Vincent Hubbard (Richard Blackwood), who has actually been pictured with a smashed car.
Our money’s on Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack).
We’ve just a tingling in our tinsel about it.
