The day we've been dreading for the last seven weeks has finally come. Our first day without our usual dose of villa action is upon us and Love Island is over for good. We're not entirely sure what to do with ourselves and feel like we've lost a group of our actual mates. What on earth are we going to do with our weekday evenings now?
One thing keeping us going is the possibility that we're going to be seeing our favourite Islanders' faces popping up on our screens in other TV shows in the future.
We've already heard the rumours that Chloe Crowhurst could be making an appearance on The Only Way Is Essex, and we're holding out for Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay's MTV Hits debut. Perhaps even a collaboration with Stormzy? (Please, please, please can this happen?).
And now it looks as though one of this year's Islanders could be heading on to Geordie Shore.
Sam Gowland took to Twitter yesterday do explain what an amazing summer he'd had on Love Island and hinted that we could be seeing him on our screens again soon.
He wrote: "Literally is the best experience of my life #LoveIsland… let's hope it's not too long before use see me back on tele again eyy" complete with a WINKY FACE EMOJI.
OK. So, he's not explicitly said he's a next generation Geordie Shore Raggie yet, BUT existing cast member Chloe Ferry liked the tweet. Make of that what you will, but we're taking it as solid confirmation.
