Tributes have poured in from fans, friends and celebrities alike after Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington was tragically found dead yesterday.

Chester took his own life two months after the death of his best friend Chris Cornell; with TMZ reporting his body was found by an employee at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estate, LA.

The band recently released a collaboration with Stormzy - Good Goodbye - and he was one of the first celebrities to pay tribute on hearing the devastating news. He said: "I am heartbroken you do not know what someone's going through serious. Prayers up for your family right now my brother."

Rihanna paid tribute on Instagram, with a post reading: "Literally the most impressive talent I've ever seen live! Vocal beast!

#RIPChester #LinkinPark"

Pharrell Williams also shared an Instagram post, writing: "Chester... You and the guys all influenced an entire generation. You went so hard and set so many kids free of their environments and situations. You let NERD open for you in Germany, we'll never forget that show; YOU CRUSHED IT. The last time I saw you, you gave us chills. Your essence is amongst the stars.

Rest now."

Katy Perry took it as an opportunity to campaign for more transparency with mental health issues, saying: "Rest In Peace...my heart goes out to all the family left behind. If you're suffering as well don't be ashamed to talk to someone about it."

The band's official account simply posted a poignant picture of Chester from a recent show, surrounded by fans and phone lights.

With Chester's bandmate Mike Shinoda saying: "Shocked and heartbroken, but it's true. An official statement will come out as soon as we have one."

Chance the Rapper sent love to Chester's closest, tweeting: "RIP Chester. Tragic ending. Condolences his family and friends and Linkin Park".

Our thoughts are with Chester's friends and family at this time.
