There are some pretty big questions in the world today: How long will Theresa May last as PM? Will Brexit be soft or hard? When will this bloody heatwave end?

There is one questions, however, that has got the ENTIRE nation confused.

Olivia Love Island

WHAT DOES DICK SAND MEAN?!?!

For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past fortnight you’ll probably never of heard of this term, but for those of us living in the real world it’ll be all too familiar.

For the past two weeks of ITV2’s hit show Love Island, contestant Olivia Attwood has been referring to Dick Sand on the regs, but what does it MEAN?

According to the cast mate the term refers to the “pretty scary” experience of falling foreither one or multiple trouser snakes. It’s involuntary and once the attraction starts, there’s no going back.

Still confused?

Here’s Olivia to explain more.

But while the term “Dick Sand” might be new, according to some Twitter fans it refers to an age old experience most girls have been through.

STILL not sure?

Here are some famous girls who have fallen in the Dick Sand:

Louise Thompson when she left American BF Alek Alfus for hunk Ryan Libbey

Steph Davies when she got with Jeremy McConnell in the BB house while still with Sam Reece

STILL STILL STILL don't get it? Rebel Wilson's character gives a pretty good explanation of DS in the movie 'How To Be Single', saying:

"It's like every time a guy just looks at you, you just forget who you are and are like 'ahhhh' and you get sucked into their world."
