GUYS, the sun is officially (we hope) here to stay. So time to plan that holiday you and your friends have been discussing down at the pub for months. Here, we make the case for Malta.
Lost & Found festival is there
If you haven't heard of Lost & Found by now, first of all – where on earth have you been? And second of all, you need to get off your arse and get a ticket next year.
It takes place this weekend, and it the brainchild of Annie Mac. She's obviously the absolute QUEEN of electronic music, so any festival that's 1) created by her and 2) in the SUN in APRIL has got to be top of our list.
Lost and Found is in its third year, and offers four days and four nights of parties in pools, boats, clubs and castles. We know. CASTLES.
Headliners include close friends of AMP – like Armand Van Helden, Jamie Jones and J.E.S.U.S (Jackmaster, Eats Everything, Seth Troxler and Skream).
We're so there.
Celebs bloody love it
We at heatworld are known for our love of reality telly, sparkly eyeshadow, weird beauty bloggers who do weird things like put on make-up with condoms, PEEN and, most of all, celebs.
So anywhere they go on holiday, we want to go to.
And this includes Malta.
Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky went and holidayed there last summer, as well as Liam Gallagher. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt filmed 'By the Sea' there back in 2015 before they split (awks).
It also has ROYAL approval, as Prince William recently visited and was a fan.
Loads of our fave films and telly were shot there
You can LITERALLY go on a Game of Thrones tour in Malta, as some of it was filmed on the sister island of Gozo. Plus, Troy, Gladiator and Captain Phillips were also shot here.
It's ridiculously Instagrammable
Realistically, it's 2017. So are we really going to go on holiday somewhere incapable of attracting triple-figure likes on our Insta snaps?
No.
Luckily, Malta's got ya covered.
Check out Valetta's Barakka Gardens, Mdina, and Balluta Bay in St Julians just before sunrise for beautiful views of the cathedral.
It's sunny AF
Even in winter, Malta is pretty mild. Meaning a festival like Lost and Found in April is arguably a safer bet than a UK festival that will inevitably turn into a horrible, deathly mud bath within seconds.
