8 beauty products we'll be buying in 2017

The Tangle Teezer's getting an upgrade…

Kim Thai x OFRA

Wanderlust moisturiser

Launching: January 2

The way beauty vlogger NikkieTutorials raves about this moisturiser, we’re expecting to be as smooth as a baby after one application. Kim Thai is a makeup guru herself and has collaborated with OFRA to launch a product that can be used as both a moisturiser and primer. In fact, Nikki recently said it the PERFECT primer making "any product grab onto it and adhere to the skin." If January is set to be as cold and long as we think, we’re gonna need tonnes of this stuff.

#MACMakeupArtCosmetics

A 50-piece collaboration with Kabuki, James Kaliardos and Diane Kendal

Launching: January

The new year will see the launch of MAC's biggest collection yet, collaborating with three legendary makeup icons to create a range that includes SILVER lipstick and a bronze strobing stick! We can’t wait to give January some much needed colour with this collection, even on the rainiest days we’ll be rocking those shimmery lips.

Maybelline Dream Cushion Fresh Face Liquid Foundation On-The-Go

This compact foundation got a bit of a bad rep in 2016, but that’s all set to change with a new 2017 launch. The promise of a "sheer glow" in this foundation translated as absolutely no coverage. Not any more, the product has a new formula that will allow.

Becca X Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop

£30

This stand out 2016 product is set to become a staple in our 2017 makeup collection. We refuse to go without some glow during the most depressing month of the year. January NEEDS this brightness, guys. To be honest, it might be the only time we could even buy it with how fast this beauty sells out!

Beautyblender Blotterazzi

£16

The beauty blender revolutionised makeup application years ago. But now, the company has moved from perfecting your makeup application to keeping it on throughout the whole day. These blotting sponges allow you to take away excess oil without disturbing your makeup, we NEED these in our lives for those extra-long January days.

The Ultimate Finishing Hairbrush

£15

The Tangle Teezer has long been a favourite of anyone who wants their locks touched by an angel, rather than ragged every which way by a normal hairbrush. But next year we’re going to be re-investing in their latest product… The Ultimate Finishing Hairbrush. Essentially it’s a Tangle Teezer with a handle, but its designed specifically for creating fabulous up-do’s and maintaining hair extensions- perfect in conjunction with all your new Christmas hair treats.

Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer

£299

Our big investment of the year is starting early with this one, but doesn’t it just look AMAZING? It might seem like a gimmick but the reviews of this speak for themselves. Supposedly it dries your hair much faster and reduces the need for extra styling with straighteners or curlers. Honestly, at this point we’ll buy anything that claims to reduce heat damage and tame our wild locks in the process.

Feelunique Beauty Diary

£15.00

A new diary for the new year is an imperative, and this one is cuter than ever! Not only is it a way to plan your busy 2017, its full of discount codes and beauty hacks. With adorable stickers to put over important days, like National Cookie Day, this is an alternative beauty buy we’re getting out hands on as soon as possible.
