One Direction are going to perform their brand new song Infinity on this weekend’s The X Factor final, and everyone’s going to do their goshdarn NUT over it.

The lads – Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan – will be taking to the stage at Wembley Arena on Sunday evening to belt out the track, which is off their new album Made In The AM.

HOW. EXCITING.

They’ll be joined by Coldplay, which – let’s face it – isn’t nearly so exciting or sexy as the prospect of our fave foursome capering around the judges’ table.

But still. Free music, right?

“It’s the second time the lads have graced the stage this series, previously performing Perfect back in November,” points out ITV.

Directioners are gonna have to get their fill of the lads before they go on hiatus next March – meaning there’s only a few more occasions that they’ll all perform together before they go off and do whatever it is normal early-20s boys like to do with their time.

(Except Louis, who’s going to be snowed under having a baby and possibly becoming a judge on next year’s X Factor…)

Catch Louisa Johnson, Che Chesterman and Reggie n’ Bollie battle it out to be crowned X Factor champion this Saturday from 8pm, with the final results show at the same time on Sunday.
