We need them

It’s nearly October, which means it’s definitely time to start thinking about which advent calendars we want.

And if you’re a fan of Disney princesses and cute little stuffed toys you’re going to love the Disney ones, which they’ve just announced.

The first is The Micros Tsum Tsum Calendar, which will hide adorable Tsum Tsum mini soft toys – if you’re wondering what these are, they’re basically squishy collectables based on Disney and Pixar characters.

It’s a bit pricey though: one calendar will set you back £59.99...

BUT it is a cheaper way of collecting all the characters, as each retail at £3.

The second is quite a bit cheaper, at £24.99, and it’s called The Aminators Little’s Calendar. This one is themed around your favourite Disney Princesses - behind the doors you’ll get mini figures of the princesses and some accessories for them.

Disney said: “We're happy to let you know that it will have most of the Disney Princesses in there. When the calendar is released it will have all the info about it on the Magical description on the item page. The size of the Animator Figures are different in comparison to the Micro Playsets.”

It only has 24 doors, though, which is slightly strange. What do you do on Christmas day?!

Sadly you can’t pre-order them, but both will be available in shops and online from Tuesday 24 October at 8am.

Or if you want something slightly more adult than Disney, there are also alcohol themed advent calendars to get excited about – check out this prosecco one, or Aldi’s wine one (which works out at £2 for each mini bottle).

AND something else to get you in a festive mood...M&S are giving our favourite Colin the Caterpillar cake a Christmas makeover, and it looks amazing.
