With the Love Island 2017 couples reportedly-potentially-probably [splitting up left, right and centre atm (see: Montana Brown and Alex Beattie)(http://planetradio.co.uk/heat/celebrity/news/montana-brown-confirms-split-alex-beattie/)], we kinda need some of 'em to restore our faith in the telly show's ability to bring people together. So obviously we're clinging on to last year's winners Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde's cute baby talk in the hope they'll end up back together at some point.

Yup - after the pair revealed the sex of their baby, Cara's accepted that bringing a small human child into the world can actually 'change things.'

We're taking that as 'NATHAN AND I ARE IN LOVE AND WILL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER,' just FYI.

Chatting to OK!, Nathan said: "We talk all day, every day and she sends me pictures of the nursery. We're getting on better than ever."

Every day? BETTER THAN EVER? This has gotta be good news, right?

Cara added: "We're excited to see what happens. Babies do change things. I still have love for him."

Right, now please excuse us while we live vicariously though Nathan and Cara's entire relationship. We ship it so effin' hard.

Cara did admit the pair won't be rushing into anything for the sake of their little 'un, though. She added: "We've always said we wouldn't get back together just because of the baby."

Still got our fingers crossed tbh though, love.
