Stephanie David is set to work with UK domestic violence charities after Jeremy McConnell was found guilty of assaulting her in a court hearing yesterday.
Judge Wendy Lloyd of Liverpool & Knowsley Magistrates Court came to the verdict following Stephanie's accusations he experienced a 'psychotic episode' at London's Royal Chace Hotel last month; with her rep revealing she now wants to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
Speaking following the verdict, Stephanie's rep explained: "We are delighted with the decision in court today and are pleased that justice has been done – we await the decision on Friday and the appropriate sentencing.
"Stephanie and her family would like to thank everyone for their support throughout this process which has been stressful and has put them all under massive pressure.
"Stephanie would like to thank her family, friends and team around her who have stuck with her and helped her to begin to rebuild her life.
"Stephanie now wishes to work with domestic violence and abuse charities to raise awareness and stop what has happened to her happening to other women in the UK."
This all comes after Stephanie reportedly told the jury: "He’s completely destroyed my life. It’s been the worse 18 months of my life."
Jeremy's sentencing will apparently take place on Friday 11th August.
