The fires affecting north California have put a stop to filming in Vallejo, with 15 confirmed dead and more than 200 currently missing in the area.

According to Deadline, filming has been put on hiatus today with the hope the normal schedule will resume on Sunday 15th October once the fires are contained.

Dylan Minnette, who plays Clay Jensen in the show, tweeted of his sadness as filming came to an abrupt halt. He said: "We film 13 Reasons Why in many of the areas in NorCal affected by these devastating fires. Sending love and thoughts to everyone involved."

Devin Druid, who plays Tyler Down, echoed Dylan's thoughts. He said: "The NorCal/Bay Area has been my home for almost a year while filming @13ReasonsWhy. My heart goes out to all affected by these awful fires."

Our thoughts are with all those affected.
