5 After Midnight

**The X Factor final kicks off this Saturday night, so three heatworld writers have battled it out to argue which of the three finalists should take the crown. **

Read the case for Matt Terry HERE and Saara Aalto HERE.

We've been having a bit of a love affair with The X Factor this year. Since the early stages of the competition it's been hooking us in with an UNREAL amount of dramz and the promise of being the most scandalous series yet.

Remember the rumour that the welcome party was one big orgy? And then there were those contestants who were (allegedly) caught porking on the stairs. Who could forget Brattavio? And that whole Brooks Way scandal?

Don't even get us started on north Weezy's top rap artiste, Honey G aka the next Jay Z with Nicki Minaj's vibe.

WHAT A YEAR, EH?

Now the final is fast approaching, quite frankly, shit is getting real. Pretty soon we'll have a new winner, singing the new Winner's Song – which is apparently an Ed Sheeran number, so a worthy contender for Christmas number one.

And here's why 5 After Midnight should take the crown.

First things first, their original X Factor audition was just FAB. Who doesn't love a bit of Drake's One Dance to get the party going? Here at heat HQ we definitely do.

Nicole was groooooving away. ALL the judges were grinning, there was a back flip à la Aston Merrygold from JLS. It was just all round bloody great.

Also, Simon said they LOOK GOOD TOGETHER. So from the start Simon was basically fan-girling them and what Simon says, goes, right?

Another reason we love 5 After Midnight is that they can dance. And we mean DANCE, not just a little shoulder shimmy to keep the judges happy. Nathan Lewis, Keiran Alleyne and Jordan Lee can all bust a move or two (can't believe we just said 'bust a move').

We think their take on Micheal Jackson's Thriller dance was EVEN better (dare we say it) than the King of Pops original.

AND LOOK at their super cool dance moves and how they manage to make a cheesy old song sound SO DAMN COOL.

As well as delighting us with their dance skills and giving us a new found appreciation for Earth, Wind & Fire, 5 After Midnight also absolutely NAILED the best Christmas song EVER.

The song, the set, THE COATS. It was all so perfect and festive.

Aside from all the dancing, the boys can also belt out a ballad, too.

We like to imagine that song was dedicated to us, 'cos let's face it we all kinda fancy them in a cheeky toyboy kinda way.

Anyway, back to why 5 After Midnight should win The X Factor. Who could forget the moment they took as all back to happier times in our childhood and bravely took on an EPIC Spice Girls track?

There was even a rumour flying around that the Spice Girls would be joining the lads on stage in the final. COULD YOU IMAGINE!

This brings us onto another reason these boys are worthy winners. They're apparently set to perform with GLOBAL MEGA STAR The Weeknd on Saturday night. If that collab doesn't prove they're destined for international superstardom, then we don’t know what will.

One thing we do know is that Nathan, Keiran and Jordan will be performing Beyonce's Crazy In Love on Saturday's show.

Only real winners dare to take on Queen B, right?.

And we LITERALLY cannot wait to see their take on those epic dance moves.

We'll be dancing along at home, because quite frankly, what else would we be doing on a Saturday night?
