Arnold Schwarzenegger, the hulking man mountain, sought out Game Of Thrones to watch Daenerys Stormborn AKA The Khaleesi AKA Emilia Clarke, before starring with her in Terminator: Genisys.

The 67-year-old admitted he'd delved into everyone's favourite smutty medieval drama so he could "study" Emilia Clarke.

When heat asked if he watched Game Of Thrones, he said: "Some of them, not all of them, but when I heard that she was hired, I watched many more of her shows because I really wanted to study her and get familiar with her work."

Sadly, Arnie has never been shocked or surprised by any of the twists in *GOT; *maybe it takes a lot to shock the Austrian actor. However, he did say movies need to be more like Game Of Thrones.

After being asked if GOT shocked him, Arnie said: "No, but I think this is exactly what you want in movies and I think that in *Terminator, *we benefited from the twists and turns that we had in our movie, because everyone is so used to them going in one direction.

"Who is protecting the machines, who is protecting the human beings and stuff like that. And I think with Game Of Thrones, you never know what's gonna happen and that's what makes people want to tune in."

Wow. He said "Terminator" a lot in that quote, huh? Could you tell he's promoting the movie?

We think people probably would know what's going to happen in GOT if they could be bothered to read the books. But we certainly couldn't, so we were extremely shocked by (SPOILER WARNING) Jon Snow's death at the end of season 5.

Terminator Genisys hits cinemas on 2 July.
