TV talent shows just wouldn't be TV talent shows without at least one claim of "It's a fix," per series, particularly where Simon Cowell is involved.

In last years The X Factor, they were all pretty much centered around one lady in particular; the enigmatic and just all-round bloody brilliant (in our opinion, anyway), Honey G.

In this series of Britian's Got Talent we've already seen Angara Contortion, the contortionist group who made us and David Walliams gasp in horror and admiration with their frankly insane body skills/strength/flexibility on Britain's Got Talent, find themselves caught in a cheating scandal.

And now a children's choir have been accused of miming after a technical glitch on last night's semi-final show.

Britain's Got Talent

Just a few seconds into the St Patrick's Junior Choir's rendition of Roar by Katy Perry, Ant and Dec rushed on to the stage with Dec announcing: "Gonna just stop it there – we’ve just had a few technical issues."

Then a backing track with the choir's voices began playing in the background. While Simon appeared to ignore the track and joked, "It didn’t take long!", viewers took to Twitter to suggest the choir were miming their performance.

Despite sounding live, fans posted comments such as: "MIMING SCANDAL."

Another wrote: "That choir is miming. Technical issue just exposed the truth."

A spokesperson for BGT told The Sun Online: "A technical glitch meant that the wrong song was played at the start of St Patrick’s Junior Choir performance as well as some vocals recorded during a rehearsal from them. The choir did not mime and we are very proud of their performance."
