The arrival of Celebrity Big Brother has been our one shining beacon of hope in an otherwise horrible week of bitter cold, January blues, and literally no sleep in any way at all.

Seriously – why is it do damn hard to sleep during the first week of work?

Maybe cos we're so excited about CBB? Who knows.

Anyway, a particularly exciting element of the return of the show is the fact Kim Kardashian's sex tape pal, Ray J, is on it.

CBB producers were reportedly hoping he'd dish the dirt on the family, and he's so far only teased us with some shade throwing at Kanye West and an Kardashin-y game of rubber ducks.

But now it's starting for real.

In tonight's episode, when some of the housemates are quizzing him about their relationship, he says: that he and Kim "were the same kind of players." Stacy Francis disagrees, and recalls being at Ray J’s family home and seeing the relationship first-hand. She says: "She was really into you."

Ray J says that Stacy only saw the relationship from the outside and admits he's never "crossed paths: " with Kim since the relationship ended.

WE WANT MORE GOSS, RAY J.

Well we do have four weeks…

In other Ray J news, did you hear that he's apparently being paid literally a million dollars to appear on the show?

(For context – Stephen Bear got £12,000 lol)

PLUS, he was apparently given $30,000 toward expenses including flights and a post-CBB? hotel.

A rep for Channel 5 told the Daily Star: "We don't comment on fees, contracts or unconfirmed housemates."

We really wish we were Ray Jay RN, TBH.

CBB continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 5
