Simon Cowell bought son Eric an ACTUAL DINOSAUR for his birthday

We don't think we've ever been this jealous of a two-year-old before.

Simon Cowell definitely isn't afraid to splash the cash. The man probably earns £78161 a second. That's not an actual legit figure btw, we just made it up.

Anyway, he adorns his house with black toilet paper, has a fleet of Bentley's and is said to be worth over 550 MILLION DOLLARS.

So he definitely can splash a bit of cash on his baby son's 2nd birthday.

Not content with a playcentre and a M&S caterpillar cake, Eric bash was held at London's swanky Mandarin Oriental and his guest list included Louis Walsh, Amanda Holden, Katie Piper, Alesha Dixon, Rochelle Humes and David Walliams.

Oh, and an actual DINOSAUR.

A real functioning dinosaur. Just like the ones that still scare the shit out of us when we visit the Natural History Museum.

A source told The Sun that the bash cost over ten grand, with no expensed spared: "Eric’s party was really over the top and fabulous.

"Simon spent over £10,000 making it a wonderful day for Eric and all the guests.

"The cake was dinosaur themed and everything in the room was dinosaur themed too."

And thanks to the lovely Katie Piper, you can witness the dinosaur getting aquainted with all the famous guests.

She captioned a snap of her daughter, Belle, meeting the beast, with Simon Cowell looking happy in the background.

"Surprise guest at Eric's birthday- First time Belle has seen a real dinosaur!!!"

It's no secret that Simon and Eric ADORE dinosaurs; as last year he revealed that son Eric bought him three dinosaur models for Christmas.

He revealed: "He hasn’t asked for much, funnily enough. He likes dogs and bears. I’ll get him a bear.

"He knows I like dinosaurs and he has told me he’s bought me three.

"I ask him ‘Where are the ­dinosaurs?’ You can see him thinking ‘they’re in the car, they’re in the piano. One is coming to Barbados."

Like father like son eh.
